Session 1: “Sustainable development of tourist territories. The impact of creative industries to the development of urban ecosystems”
The modern appearance of Russian cities is architecture and urbanism. We will discuss how creative fields can contribute to the environmentally responsible and socially oriented development of cities that attract tourists. How creative industries influence the creation of comfortable urban infrastructure, the development of public spaces and the involvement of local communities, which in turn contributes to increasing the attractiveness of tourist destinations. How creative tourism can contribute to the preservation of traditions, customs, architecture, crafts and other elements of the cultural heritage of the region.

We will discuss the role of creative spaces and vibrant cultural events in attracting tourists and stimulating the local economy. Participants will share their experience in formation of creative clusters, such as art districts, design centers or media parks, and tell how they contribute to the activation of tourism activity and the development of related industries. We will also talk about how major events - festivals, concerts, exhibitions - affect the promotion of tourist destinations, growth of tourist flow and positive socio-economic effects for the local community.

What new non-trivial types of tourism exist today and what unusual tourist concepts are gaining popularity in response to the growing demands of modern travelers seeking for unique and exciting experiences.

We will consider the use of cultural codes and local identity in the branding and promotion of tourist destinations. Performing arts as a magnet to attract the tourist flow. Successful practices of cities that have been able to turn their cultural potential into a driver of tourism development. Creating authentic tourist routes: how to develop routes that not only show the sights, but immerse tourists in the cultural environment of the region and demonstrate the creative potential of the city? And the key question is what makes the territory attractive to tourists?

How historical traditions, artistic practices, architectural features and other local cultural codes become a source of inspiration for creative solutions in tourism - from branding and marketing of destinations to the development of interactive tourist routes and the integration of new technologies. How is the close interaction between the tourism industry, creative industries and the state contribute to the promotion of tourist destinations at the international level and create a favorable environment for the growth of creative enterprises and the monetization of their activities. We will talk about trends, technologies and new formats that will determine the future of the creative tourism.
